It has been a very busy time. Just before the move to Berlin we were in Congo the end of March and into mid-April. We are helping TOGETHER: 7 families and their 30 children—rescuing them from the rock quarries where they used to work every day and paying school fees (for 10 of them), uniforms etc. we’ve also given supplies to each family: rice, maize flour, soap, lotion, and milk.

This is a family blend of two families. The four children from left (Eunice, Mbuyi, Joseph, Yunicia) are true orphans and their aunt (Alphonsine) has accepted their responsibility even though she struggles and has two boys (Samuel and David) of her own pictured there. Alphonsine, 41 works hard physical labor on farms to help these children. They are left alone often with the two teen boys ages 17 and 19. They are in 3rd year high school but struggling to get by as it was three years since they were last in school. SOLUTIONS ARE NOT EASY when rescuing hidden families from the rock quarries!
Two of the four orphans Joseph, 9 and Mbuyi, 10 started first grade. Eunice, 12 started 3rd
grade and Yunicia, 13 started 4th. They had been out of school so long that they will have to
repeat 3rd & 4th grades as they were a few points from the passing score.
I receive receipts of school fees paid and their grade reports. There is much good accountability in this project and YOU CAN BE SURE YOUR OFFERINGS ARE WELL-SPENT. All of the families said to thank you with all the joy of the Lord!
Lisette helps us by receiving the money by Western Union; purchasing supplies/distributing getting signatures and paying all school fees. She is wonderful and her sister’s husband, Mathieu helps her. They truly work for the Lord as difficult as it can be for them as well.
Here they gathered all 7 families and 30 children for a celebration before Resurrection Day. We distributed almost new clothing, candy, toys, underwear & toothbrushes and large tubes of toothpaste. It was a time of great joy!
The Joy of a smile! when getting new pants and shirt. David is always so appreciative. He turned 18 and will be in starting his 4th year of high school. This is equivalent our 10th grade. He always gives me such big hugs when returning to Congo since he worked for years in the rock quarries—never eating all day and often no water for about $15-20/month if he could sell his buckets of rocks for 25 cents a bucket.
THIS IS WHAT YOU MAKE POSSIBLE—IN YOUR OWN HARD TIMES THESE GIFTS ARE MORE SPECIAL—yet still we don’t suffer as they do. Donations are really needed to continue this work including my support.

UPDATE IN GERMANY
After moving to Berlin which I mentioned in the last newsletter, I went to Kenya. It was a difficult and wonderful trip all at the same time. I want to share more in September but needed to focus first on Congo since that is Family Life Resource Center’s primary project.
Here I joined the Jerusalem Gemeinde (Fellowship) and a team from Cyprus who came to pray for Germany and Berlin. We are on a field where a large castle used to be that is being torn down. It was used by the leaders and government of Hitler.
n
Across from the field and next to the Havel river is the place where the Jerusalem Gemeinde meets and the Berlin Cathedral (Dom) which I believe is Lutheran. Two angels stand on top with trumpets—on the sides where the large green dome begins-- we are praying this as a prophetic symbol: that they announce a return of German hearts to their Savior! It is such a time to declare that all Germany will be saved since not even 5% are! Berlin probably has a smaller percentage of people who know there is a Savior, Yeshua, who so loves them and that they desperately need HIM!!!
This is a new flower from the Netherlands in the Hibiscus family. I had a dream this plant broke into the wall of my home and found it a few days later at a tram stop. I bought it for my balcony. It is new and a protected flower ONLY AVAILABLE IN EUROPE. Blooms are 7-8 inches across (16-18 cm). SOMETHING NEW AND UNUSUAL IS COMING—SOMETHING NEVER SEEN BEFORE! IT WILL BE A SPECIAL DEMONSTRATION OF THE BEAUTY AND CREATIVITY OF OUR LORD GOD!

Kingdom Family Center is the church we started almost 4 years ago now. These are our children praying and asking God to visit them and our church by Holy Spirit. They are also praying for God to come and care for their nation which is in a political crisis with their godlessness. MANY of these children have had visions and dreams since. “unless we change and become as a little child WE WILL NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.” MT. 18:3
CAN WE BEGIN TO PRAY AND FAST THAT OUR NATION WILL TURN BACK TO GOD AND BIBLICAL VALUES? MANY LEADERS/ PEOPLE IN THE PRAYER NETWORKS I AM CONNECTED WITH ARE HEARING GOD SPEAK TO THEM THAT AMERICA IS IN A CRISIS—THAT THE CHURCH MUST FAST AND PRAY AND TURN BACK TO RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE BY OUR VOTE THIS NOVEMBER AND BY OUR LIVES SHOWING HIM OUR CONCERN FOR OTHERS SALVATION/NEEDS AS WELL AS OUR OWN SMALL WORLD.
I am joining you in this fast and prayer. Many of you press in and push hard with the
things of HIS Heart—but so many are not! We must be concerned for them and crying
out for them. 80 Evangelical prayer groups are meeting all weekend of August 27-30th at
the House of Prayer in Kansas City to pray 66 hours in honor of the 66 Books of the
Bible—for our nation to return to her Godly and Biblical roots.
